Product Overview
The Torque Multiplier, also known as a Torque Multiplier Wrench, is designed for tightening and loosening large-diameter bolts and nuts in power plants, industrial maintenance, installation, and overhaul applications.
It is particularly useful in locations where operating space is limited and conventional extension bars or large special-purpose wrenches cannot be used effectively.
The torque multiplier consists of a torque multiplication mechanism, reaction arm / reaction foot, and socket. By applying a relatively small input force, the operator can achieve an output torque multiplication ratio of approximately 4:1 to 70:1, allowing large bolts and nuts to be tightened or loosened with significantly reduced effort.
