Applications
HD Series Hydraulic Nuts are suitable for applications involving bolts that require frequent assembly and disassembly, preloading of extra-large bolts, and locking of large workpieces.
They can also be used as hydraulic tools for the assembly and disassembly of interference-fit components. Installing or removing bearings on tapered shafts or sleeves is often difficult and time-consuming. Hydraulic nuts significantly simplify this process and improve operating efficiency.
High-pressure hydraulic oil is supplied to the hydraulic nut by a high-pressure pump, generating force to drive the piston. This controlled axial force enables bearings and other interference-fit components to be installed or removed accurately, efficiently, and safely.
