Working Principle
The SL-HM Hydraulic Nutis a high-performance hydraulic locking device developed for slitting machine applications.
Its operating principle is simple: a T-handleis used to rotate the pressure screw, which pushes the pressure pistoninward. This increases the pressure of the sealed hydraulic medium, causing the annular pistonto extend and generate axial clamping force for locking rotating tools such as spacers, cutters, and other shaft-mounted components.
The operator can simultaneously check the scale on the thrust indicatorto confirm whether the required clamping force has been reached.
