Product Introduction
The SL-HA Series Bearing Heateris mainly used for heating various metal components such as bearings, gears, bushings, sleeves, rings, pulleys, shrink rings, couplings, and similar interference-fit parts.
By heating the workpiece uniformly, thermal expansion is generated to provide the clearance required for interference-fit assembly.
Operating Procedure
1. Place the yoke securely on the end face of the main unit.
2. Insert the power plug into a power outlet equipped with a control switch.
3. Check that the grounding connection is reliable. After switching on the power, verify electrical safety with an appropriate voltage tester.
4. Press the Startbutton to energize the main unit.
5. Check and confirm that there is no voltage between the yoke and ground.
6. Press the Stopbutton to disconnect power and stop heating.
7. Select the appropriate yoke according to the size of the bearing or other workpiece. Place the workpiece onto the yoke, then position the yoke flat and securely on the top surface of the main unit.
8. During heating, insert the temperature sensor into the sensor socketand ensure that the sensor is in close contact with the workpiece.
9. When the bearing reaches the preset temperature, the heater will automatically switch off. Heating can also be stopped manually by pressing the Stopbutton.
10. After heating is completed, move the yoke to the left or right, remove the heated bearing, and then return the yoke to the top of the main unit.
11. For repeated heating of bearings of the same specification, simply place the next bearing onto the yoke and press the Startbutton.
Safety Precautions
1. The power supply must be properly grounded.
2. Never press the Startbutton unless the yoke is correctly installed on the main unit. Failure to do so may damage the heater or blow the fuse.
3. The heating temperature of rolling bearings must not exceed 150°C, otherwise bearing material properties may be adversely affected.
4. To improve heating efficiency, select the yoke with the largest practical cross-sectional area according to the bearing bore diameter.
5. The main unit must be placed on a flat and stable surface. Do not operate it in a tilted position. The yoke must make full and even contact with the end face of the main unit.
6. Heated components must only be removed from the yoke after the main unit has been switched off.
7. For the relationship between bearing temperature rise and bore expansion, refer to the operating manual.
